7 of the Best Christmas Movies on Netflix

With Christmas quickly approaching, what’s better than throwing on a feel-good Netflix holiday movie while wrapping presents, baking cookies, or completing other holiday to-dos?

The season would just not be complete without feel-good, predictable Christmas movies. Luckily, those of us who are cable-cutters and can’t watch Hallmark have another option: Netflix Christmas movies. Just as cheesy and light-hearted as Hallmark these films will put you in the holiday spirit.

Over the past few years, I’ve watched a number of these movies with friends, while doing things around the house, or snuggling up on a chilly evening. Here are the top picks you have to add to your watchlist before the season passes us by:

1. A California Christmas

The acting in this movie is probably the least cheesy that I’ve seen. The story is super heartfelt, taking place on a dairy farm in California. It might make you cry!

2. Holiday in the Vineyards

Basically the same storyline as A California Christmas, taking place at a winery in California.

3. Operation Christmas Drop

Based on a true event that takes place each year! Super sweet, about giving back and takes place on a tropical island.

4. The Noel Diary

This one really kept my attention. The storyline was very intriguing, about a young woman searching for her birth mom.

5. A Christmas Prince

You’ve probably seen all the movies in this series. They are a classic Netflix Christmas movie.

6. The Holiday Calendar

Follows along as a young woman opens a magic Advent calendar.

7. The Princess Switch

Another classic Netflix movie. A princess switches places with a baker that looks identical.
