Make This Iced Raspberry Matcha Latte at Home for a Valentine’s Day Treat

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, make this iced raspberry matcha latte for a festive sip.

Raspberries are the ideal fruit to enjoy around Valentine’s Day. The gorgeous red color is so festive and they are a delicious sweet snack. Raspberry pairs perfectly with matcha, making this recipe an ideal pick me up for Valentine’s day.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Sift 1 tsp of matcha through a matcha sifter into a bowl. Add any amount of honey to matcha powder, depending on how sweet you like it. Add cool water to the powder and honey, whisk with a matcha whisk until slightly frothy.
  2. Prepare frozen raspberries by placing them in a bowl and heating in microwave for around 15-20 seconds. Once defrosted, crush raspberries with a fork until they are more of a liquid consistency.
  3. Place crushed raspberries at the bottom of a drinking glass.
  4. Add ice over raspberries to the top of the drinking glass.
  5. Add oat milk or milk of choice to your drinking glass.
  6. Last, pour matcha mixture into glass.

Viola! You just made a delicious matcha treat. Note that if you mix everything together, the matcha will turn a purple-brown color. I personally like to move the raspberries around a little, but keep them on the bottom and sip from the bottom with a straw so the drink retains its green color.
